I do not keep the car in the garage. We use our garage for projects. It sits in the sun above half the day. The car is white so that probability helps.
3 years 4 months. Gained almost 1% last month :)
So I'm down about 10% for the 3+ years. Looking at last year I've lost 1.27%, the year before a loss of 0.81%
As I've stated before my goal is to keep this car for 10 years with a 100 mile range still remaining, at the current rate it looks...
3 years + 3 months. No significant adjustment at the three month mark. It has been hotter than normal here in Atlanta so the battery temperature has been remaining high 80 - 85+. I keep the charge level between 30 - 70%, charging early morning when it's the coolest. I average 4.5 miles per...
3 years 25K miles, down 11.21%, Not too bad I guess. Of course that's if the BMS reading is correct.
Due to popular request added a mileage column ;)
I keep the charge level between 30 and 70% and no DC charging.
I installed a pool pump timer that just turns on/off the outlet the EVSE is plugged into.
I have it set to turn off at 7:00am and then back on at 5:00pm.
This was the only way I could get my wife to charge the car in keeping it at 70%, all she has to do is plug it in...
I live in Atlanta, yes it's hot here in the summer. The car is parked under a large tree so it does not get any direct sun. The battery temperature stays mostly between 80 and 85 Deg. during the summer. During the work week the car is in a parking garage during the day.
I set my car time to the following settings, the "Full charge has priority" is the key one. I then have a timer on my charger that shuts it off at 7:00am. Then regardless of the charge level by 7:00am it will always be at or about 70%. I only charge at 3KW so my stop time is way out to 11:00am...
Should add odometer to the chart.
You had 3 plusses, one "zero" adjustment and now it looks like you have restarted the negative adjustments again. Interesting.
Sounds like a good idea. I'll add that in on my next update
