I've noticed that if you quickly shift into gear and move off while the start up chime is playing, then there is no chime when you power off again after that, it's like it temporarily mutes the chime until next power on.

Thanks for the info. That's basically what I'm doing now. I create a route with multiple points but you be to hit pause on each one and then navigate to it. I might look into the carwings route planner a bit more. Cheers
