    Battery Upgrades are very possible

Thank you very much for sharing this dala, it's very interesting, as are your other videos as well, it's nice to see that concrete options exist to keep those cars on the road! On newer AZE0 models, do you need to drill the battery support brackets? I have been thinking of doing this kind of...

    Big difference SOC vs GID

From what I understand: GID% is the percentage of energy available relative to the battery capacity when it was new (so if your battery SOH is 65%, GID% can never be higher than this) SOC% is the percentage of energy available relative to the current (degraded) battery capacity

    Clicking brake noise

I tried re-torquing the wheel nuts, but they seem tightly secured. I got the idea to try to reproduce in neutral on a slope. I get the same behavior. Wouldn't this rule out axle shaft splines as I don't see how there could be any torque exerted on the axles in neural? @Baltneu: What would you...

    Battery Upgrades are very possible

Oh a Norwegian website, makes sense with 55% EV ownership per capita. Seems like a great source for parts as well. I am quite surprised that the other websites (even local ones) never seem to have any car or part available.

    Battery Upgrades are very possible

Out of curiosity, where can you buy wrecked leafs (or battery packs) in Europe? All the platforms on which I could find leafs were for the US market.

    Clicking brake noise

Thank you for all the replies and confirming that this is not something normal! With the correct keywords I was able to find a very similar thread on this forum: https://www.mynissanleaf.com/viewtopic.php?f=8&t=12121 The dealer is indeed just a waste of time, they kept the car 2 days and...

    Clicking brake noise

Hi Guys! I recently acquired a 2015 Leaf SV. I can hear a rather loud clicking noise from the wheels when I brake in reverse or when accelerating after braking / stopping. The dealer tells me this is normal on all leafs, and this is due to brake pads shifting. Did someone else experience...

    Battery Upgrades are very possible

Thanks for the update and nice work! I thought you were going to put the CAN bus man in the middle adapter between the battery and the VCM in order to avoid having to open the packs and do the cell swap. I wonder whether this approach is feasible, if it was, and if 40/62kwh batteries are...

    Battery Upgrades are very possible

@alozzy: What I am wondering about is not the physical aspect of interfering communications between the battery and the VCM, but rather how to alter the messages (So how to program the firmware of the board mux is providing). For this, you need to understand what each battery sends and expects...

    Battery Upgrades are very possible

As a software engineer and leaf owner, I am really interested in seeing how you are going to write a functional CAN bridge between your 24kwh car and the 30kwh battery. In your case, reverse engineering the 24kwh protocol seems doable, since you can observe your current battery communicating...
