Nissan Connect EV (Carwings) having problems?

In the last month, I have started getting text messages notifying me that I checked battery status via remote app. I don’t know how useful that change is, but it indicated someone still works on that platform. My complaint is after exactly 2 weeks of no driving, the modem loses connectivity...

    Charging at an airport.

Tying up a charger for duration seems wasteful . I know DFW has high capacity chargers L3 in every direction outside the airport. Spend $6, charge up for 30 mins and you are good to go.

It's official- Nissan WILL NOT support Tablets with EV app.

I use NissanConnectEV &. Services 6.4.5 on an IPad Air 2 on iPadOS 13.1.2 in the US.

GCC: US transit rail ridership 64% higher, transit bus ridership 17% lower in 2018 than in 1990

In Dallas, we butchered our bus network to support the rail network. You end up with buses being spokes off rail stations, dropped frequency on non rail connected routes and horrible satisfaction. People that liked riding one bus for long commute hated it. Then most job growth is now outside...

NissanConnect EV / Telematics Hardware Update, for the post-2G world

When I got my update at end of 2016, I remember a 24 or 48 hour delay before it worked. I remember calling the Nissan techs and they confirmed it. At work, I had experience with telecom updates, so it seemed logical. System connected when I checked it the 2nd morning after an afternoon install.

    All Information Feeds

I have a 2013 SL. The screen that you cite seems to be the one I see when I finish listening to my energy performance feed. I have it set up to report daily when I start off. After it gives me the last data point, I see that screen. Somehow the system thinks it reported to you and wants you...

Charging at work - how to ask

Many, if not most, employers do not own or control the parking facilities. Even if a name is on the garage, it could be a lease. If your employer does own the parking, a bigger issue could arise getting you a spot to access the power. Ideally the connection is well away from near the door...

Proper EV Etiquette - Charging/Parking - Novice EV Owners

The smartest charging stations in TX are at the far end of the parking lot. I wish everyone would do it that way. Blink has made its stations practically useless by almost always putting them near the front door. Not very bright, especially if you want to make money. EVGo does theirs in far...

    nissan connect monthly fee?

Carwings started sending updated reports over the weekend instead of resending 12/31 reports. Whatever the issue, it now seems to access latest usage and efficiency data, reporting same. I never had issue with connection; just getting latest reports.

    nissan connect monthly fee?

Has Carwings stopped providing data feeds via car’s modem on battery usage, eco trees and relative rank? The last update I can get is as of 12/31 (get feed but same 12/31) yet my Nissan Connect app shows that Nissan has my January data. I have a 2013 and have not signed up for service other...

    2013 Leaf - Dead 12-Volt Battery every 2 Weeks

The update worked for me. I had drained 12v battery every 4-5 days. I suspected the new 3G modem and turned off the overnight charging station Carwings update. The battery issue went away. I learned of update and took Leaf into shop. Tech initially questioned my analysis until I used Nissan...

    Software updates question

Nissan does not do OTA. Software updates appear via technical bulletins, NTB, and do not occur that often. Dealerships install them. Usually they appear in response to specific problems, e.g., air bags, 3G modems. It is not like an app update process. Do not expect any updates for services...
