Thanks SageBrush there was good information at the Nissan website about lease end.
Nissan uses a company to do the inspections and the company will come to my location to do the inspection. That's a big plus as I live in the woods in northeastern PA.

Unfortunately, Nissan along with Honda and Toyota will not permit selling the car to anyone other than the person on the lease. A possible way around this would be to reassign the lease.

Any interest in a 2019 Leaf SL Plus that is going off lease on October 23rd?
My Leaf's current mileage is 36,900 so it is out of warranty. The buy out price at the end of lease is $18,462.30.
What you would be paying are my costs in purchasing the Leaf at the end of the lease...
Anyone with Comma 2 installed in their Leaf?

I found a post on Reddit from a Leaf owner and it seems that there may be some limitations using the comma.ai with the Leaf.
I am trying to gather more info before I put one on my Christmas list.

When I open the Private for Sale forum I am not seeing a button to create a new topic. Is there a milestone that I have not yet reached that prohibits me from creating a new topic?
I PM'd the moderator but I have not had a response.
Thanks,

This is a quote from EVSEadapters.com web site in their listing for the CHAdeMO DC Quick Charger, "Vehicles with 6.6KW charging capability, which normally charge in 3-4 hours, will not experience a significant benefit."
Bruce
The summary so far:
No one knows if we can charge a Leaf+ at more than 6.6kw via the J1772 receptacle.
No one is concerned about this as they are satisfied with the 6.6kw charge rate.
I am about to buy a second charger so I will order a 40 amp and then we'll have the answer.
Bruce
Has anyone any experience with using a 40 amp level 2 charger on a Leaf +? If so, what was the kw charge rate?
I have been googling to try and find the maximum charge rate that the Leaf+ will accept. No joy.
Thanks,
Bruce
