For the last few months my battery has sat at 100 degrees plus, even at night. I wonder how soon i will see degradation from this hot summer. Its not uncommon for it to be at 115 degrees while driving.

Post it for sale on eBay. The reason i say that is when i sold cars on there it always comes up with a bit of car history using the VIN so if you put up a ridiculous auction, view it and then end the auction you may be able to see if it has wrecks or was a total loss that way.

Fortunately that some one is Nissan themselves so if they are willing to do it im willing to take it. As for it still being good Im at 10 bars close to losing another one, thats hardly a good battery. We will just have to see how it plays out.

I live in Bakersfield ca, and while it's not Phoenix we get some hot 105 to 113 degree days. A.c. works great! Battery temp however is not so great lol it's not uncommon to see 8 or 9 bars temp. But hey, the cabin feels nice and fresh.

Tomorrow I will check the cell differances at low voltage using leafspy to see if there is a cause for concern. I read about cvli but am not sure how that works with leafspy. Perhaps I need to do some more searching.
