Sorry to hear it as well. I don't ever plan to Level-3 charge my Leaf. It'll take them the life of my leaf just to get a reasonable Level-2 infrastructure rolled out, IMO. I wouldn't have paid for the port... but the feds paid for it as a part of the EV Project for me.

Costco told me that the refurbished Costco (they tore down the old one, bought the lot next door, and are building a new bigger/better one) in San Marcos, CA will not be outfitted with EV chargers. Guess that means the old ones are getting trashed. There was no option to request one. :(

I was on vacation for a week. Left my Leaf unplugged and in the garage. Still got a few blink sms notifications about 'charging stopped'. grrrr
