Thank you, I will check out the Kumho tires. Im looking for something that has tread warranty.
BTW- Here is an update on my situation. I increased the PSI to above 40. Drove the car yesterday on the same route. Suffice to say I made it back with VLBW.
* On the old Ecopias, I would have gone 76...
Do we have any documented cases where people who changed from ecopia to ecopia, experienced lesser range loss. I understand the new tires will cause some range loss on account of increased tread.
Ray, I hit VLBW (3 horizontal lines) around 11.6 miles away from home. City streets was not an easy option where I was driving. I suppose after another 6 miles I could have taken city streets. In addition, city streets would have increased the distance. I was trying to make it to a charger that...
Other than Michelin, P7 and the Bridgestone, which other tires are recommended? I can look up the tires by size but is there already a list of tires that are known to not impact the range or reduce the impact? I have increased the PSI. The tires are tested to at least 20% more than the max value.
Im still with in the 30 day period to take my tires back and the Ecopia's are an option if increasing the PSI on the P7 does not give me the needed range.
I would like to know if anyone else has had any experience with sticking with Ecopia- does it cos range loss on account of better grip...
Climate control, fan etc was turned off and the temp was set to the lowest. If there is another way to save energy on the climate control other than Phils mod, please tell me how.
Since 66 miles was within my range, I did not plan a QC stop. I dont think its feasible to regularly stop at a QC...
Last Friday was a day of many firsts for me.
First time I was driving with the Leaf Spy App on my new android device bought just for the app (We EV enthusiasts buy a phone to run an app!)
First time I was driving my usual 66 mile RT commute after getting new tires
First time I got stranded...
No address change since I bought the car. Apparently Nissan informed people thrice, I never received even one notification. I contacted the counsels office and they sent a note to their administrator. Either way, good or bad, seems like Im stuck with this settlement?
Just got the Leaf Spy App, had to get an Android phone only for this purpose.
My rig:
Virgin Kyocera Event (Thank god for cheap phones)
Vgate ELM327 Bluetooth Scan Tool OBD2 OBDII Scanner for TORQUE APP ANDROID
So far Leaf Spy Lite
1. Is it a problem to leave the OBDII plugged in always?
2...
Im certain I wasnt notified of this lawsuit. Is there any way to opt out now? Has anyone done that after the deadline?
I was following the FB group and had hoped someone would post important updates such as this one.
Why almost? 3 bars loss should qualify him right?
I'm at 2 years 5 months, 35000 miles and today I reached turtle mode after 74 miles. That is the lowest I have driven before turtle. My last turtle was at 79 miles but then I was intentionally pushing it to the edge to establish a base line...
Fair enough, for what its worth lets assume you even get 12 bars after replacement but why would they tie in the number of bars to the warranty? In this all-digital world Im surprised that they did not opt to go for an absolute measurement of the battery capacity. Think there is any spin to that?
Just stumbled upon this thread after reading about the extended warranty. Seems like most folks are happy but Im curious why they are deciding warranty based on capacity bars which can be manipulated - rather than battery capacity measured by actual charge held in a battery that is charged to...
