Re: The battery replacement/buyback thread.

They called me back the very next day and said that they were going to decline to offer a buyback, citing that my car was not in bad enough condition to qualify for one or something, That is Nissan customer support BS. Write them a letter Nissan continues to amaze me just how bad it is, and that is...

Re: What is the warranty on a dealer installed 24 kWh pack?

5 years/60k miles IIRC for excessive battery degradation (below 9 capacity bars)
The same warranty as the 24 kWh pack in a new LEAF of the same model from that era

The *battery defect* warranty is longer, and again is the same as a new LEAF from that era of the same model

Nothing prevents Nissan from changing its policy or making an exception, but don't hold your breath There was an anecdote told on the forum by an owner who was eligible for pack replacement based on th...

Insofar as air drag is concerned, frontal area would be the difference

Re: GM Follows Ford, Will Switch from CCS to NACS

Honda has joined the NACS bandwagon, both for their upcoming GM sourced vehicles and later for their own brew

The other nearby EA site showed all available chargers in use so bailed, and on the way back to their home (they were on info/anxiety overload by this point)

Re: The 40KWH Battery Topic

Very well said. However 75 Farenheit (24 degree celcius) is quite impractical since my ambient temperatures are higher than that during the day most of the summer. My local climate has 90 - 100F daily temperatures for about two months a year. Lucky for us though, the car lives outside in the shade ...

Let's continue here. Why ? If I post on this topic, it will be here: https://mynissanleaf.com/viewtopic.php?t=34266 Admittedly there is the usual noise from people posting agendas rather than on-topic but this is the internet after all. I prefer the older thread because EV choice that considers DC ...
