Darn. I think Nissan would sell more Leafs if they made the $3000-$5000 rebate national.

Re: $2500 Texas rebate is up and running

Texas is showing 74% funds remaining, so I guess I don't need to worry about the funds running out before the May 31, 2019 deadline. I'll keep looking to see if I can find a 30kwh for a reasonable price, but as of now it looks like all the 2016 SV/SL (i.e. 30 kwh battery) used for sale are asking a...

Re: Goodbye Leaf, Hello Model 3

That would mean your choice is between a $45k Tesla or a $35k Leaf, but you would know that you'll be able to upgrade your Leaf's range in 8 years. People pay big $$$$ for cellphone upgrades. I believe the same opportunity exists for electric car batteries. The difference is they're paying big $$$$...

Re: J1772 Cap/Protector

Thanks for the data point. I don't doubt that the connector can survive well without any protection, especially if only used indoors. Off topic a bit, but if you don't mind sharing, which supply-side plug is on your LCS-25P? 14-30P because it's the same as our dryer. I got tired of unplugging so I ...

I've had the same EVSE as you for 4 years and have never used the cap or holster.

In this case though, the heat pump and heated seats are a package so the argument is moot.
Not in the S trim like LeftieBiker said in post #30.

Re: If you knew then.. what you know now....

Nope. $3500 "total savings" including $2500 "bonus cash" and $1000 NMAC lease cash, in my locale. I'm sure some Leafs are getting it now as a clearance bonus, in some locales. That's horrible. I just saw you're from upstate NY. I just Googled NY zip code and put in 10001. I'm no...

Re: If you knew then.. what you know now....

I think the S got the full pass-through, for a while, now that you mention it. But I don't think it lasted very long. I could be mistaken about that. Not sure about when you leased yours, but it seems like the full incentives are still available on the 18 and 19 Leafs. Here's those amount according...
