Does your cruise control work? One of the brake pedal switches is for sensing when the brake pedal has been depressed. If that green/white wire pair was missed during assembly, and it's supposed to be wired to that brake pedal sensor, then cruise control won't work.

My 2013 also stays locked, with the car is ready mode. However, I did tweak the door lock settings with LeafSpy Pro long ago, so perhaps that's not the stock setting.
