LEAFSpy does not show me tire pressure.

Hi, In my new-to-me 2018, LEAFSpy does not show me the tire pressures. The "Use alternate method to read tires" option is greyed out. Works fine in my MY2015. Tried both of my Bluetooth OBDII readers just in case. At least one of the forum threads indicates people have it working. Ideas?

2018 Setting only END time on charge timer.

I have used the START/STOP combination to achieve various SOC end points already. I no longer want to have do any math, just have a full battery every other day or so when I plug it in. It sitting at 100% for an hour or so every other day won't make a difference in battery longevity.

2018 Setting only END time on charge timer.

At the moment I have no way to see/record when the charging starts. There were two options for this with my MY2015. I have a Bluetooth battery voltage monitor which just recently broke, and for some reason LEAFspy will not connect to the MY2018 LEAF when it is charging. Both of these methods...

2018 Setting only END time on charge timer.

That is it exactly. The START time on the 2015 is disabled( displays --:--) just by using the UP/DOWN buttons as if you were setting the time. On the 2018 it never gives you the -- option. Setting only the end time has a specific function. The car will calculate when to start charging so it can...

2018 Setting only END time on charge timer.

Hi all, When I went to edit the Start/Stop times on the new-to-me 2018, both had a default of 12:00 filled in. I can't figure out how to get rid of the START time. This is a no-brainer on my 2015. What button press am I missing?

    215/55 R17 tires on 2015 Leaf

Are you sure? I notice that my 2015 SV with NAV has always been 4-5km/h short of the indicated 100km/h when I happen to have my phone GPS on.

First Capacity Bar Loss And What To Expect

Rats! Lost my first capacity bar sometime in the last month. Ahr:52.9 SOH:85.2 Hx:74.4 km:76700 GIDs @ fully charged: 249 Oh well, ...knew it would happen sooner or later. ;)

    Loud reverse braking

Update: It's been about 6 weeks since I drove around with the parking brake on. I would say that I got 4 weeks of smooth silent reversing before it started to show signs of stickiness and noise. However, it is infrequent, very mild, and does not seem to be getting worse. I have a feeling it only...

Rusting bolt on front suspension strut - would you buy this?

Ha!.... I'm using a lid from a Korean Kimchi container. Just waiting for the wife to empty another one so I can cover the other side. https://leisureguy.files.wordpress.com/2018/02/kimchi.jpg

    Big difference SOC vs GID

Oooops. 2011 doesn't have the % remaining in the display does it? At least now %GIDs and SOC will line up more accurately with reality in LeafSpy.

    Big difference SOC vs GID

I believe that is correct. LeafSpy does not know your battery is degraded unless you tell it. Thus your fully charged GIDs right now (I'm gonna guesstimate 182) is being compared to the original 21.5kWhr LeafSpy thinks the battery has available. Read the GIDs value at the next 5 times you...

    Loud reverse braking

1/4 mile is surely not enough. That was good for only about two weeks of (complete) silence for me. Last week I did 2-3 km in my subdivision using only the Pbrake at intersections Wheelhubs felt only just above lukewarm. It's a full drum brake setup in there, just mechanically operated...

Big jump in Capacity....Whats going on?

Not really. Winter IS coming, but they weren't the first of the cold mornings. Also, this effect didn't occur last autumn.

Big jump in Capacity....Whats going on?

Good. So if we have 90% of people agreeing that GIDS represents the available energy, and that GIDS after a 100% charge is total capacity available for you to use, I would re-ask for opinions: A: This acceptable behavior.. Don't sweat it. B: This is slightly abnormal behavior-but not yet worth...

Big jump in Capacity....Whats going on?

I saw no reason to watch the voltages carefully because capacity loss is expected.(Although that big of a loss was a bit concerning). What has me a bit disturbed is the increase up to "Better than new" condition. In my mind that suggests something isn't working correctly. PS: Interestingly...

Big jump in Capacity....Whats going on?

Nope. I have seen the Capacity bump occur from DCFC not long after getting the car, but it was minimal. # of DCFC is steady at about 2/month Nope. 2-3 100km round trips to work per week(with an L2 charge to 100% at work) + an 80km trip to the In-laws on the weekend. Agreed. This small a change...

Big jump in Capacity....Whats going on?

Hello all, Has anyone ever experienced a noticeable jump in their battery capacity? For the first year of my used 2015 LEAF ownership the capacity hovered around 60Ahrs(284GIDs fully charged,SOH 97, Hx92). :) About 3 months ago the capacity slowly began dropping until it hit a low of...
