    Chademo to CCS1 adapter

I found your Ebay listing (256769845574). Great that it doesn't have a reserve, but I wish it had a buy it now and a make an offer option IMHO...

    Chademo to CCS1 adapter

I *technically* have no home charging available to me and I do own an Nissan Leaf. To my knowledge the 2025 Nissan Leaf SV and SV+ aren't apart of the battery recall (mine is). I would guess that @indylmc would be fine with the occasional DCFC/Fast Charge (once a week?) without major issues. If...

    EVgo infrastructure thread

I had the same exact issue a year ago. The physical buttons didn't work nor was I able to stop the session with the app. Pretty sure you can in most circumstances use the app to stop the charging session. I think the particular charger I was using wasn't working with the EVgo app.

Onboard charger upgrade to 3 phase

I would have to do some research, but I remember there being a "portable" CHAdeMO charger out there that could be powered by a level 2 charger. At the time it was incredibly expensive (~$5K I think), and way slower than most permanent CHAdeMO DCFC stations. Update: It probably was this adapter...

    Chademo to CCS1 adapter

I honestly suspected all of the Chadmo to CCS adapters were made by Chinese ODM's. They all have a very similar-ish design. From what I've read about this adapter, and their other adapters that now we know OLINK makes, A2ZEV did have some sort of input/hand in the design process for the NACS to...

A2Z CSS1 to CHAdeMO adapter use in North Central Florida

Discount code STATEOFCHARGE as of December 2024 now takes off $50 USD.

    Any updates on CCS1?

So OLINK is the ODM that makes the A2Z CHAdeMO adapter? Interesting. https://olinkevse.com/chademo-adapter/

    Alternatives to NissanConnect Services?

The MyLeaf app doesn't work with the US service. Nissan USA or SiriusXM have been very hostile to third party apps/access over the years. https://tobis.dk/blog/the-farce-of-nissanconnect-north-america/

    Brakes Fail upon Powering On

Not sure. Checked my 2019 leaf and it looks like it's not a part of this recall...

    Any alternative to MUSTART Level 1& 2 12/16A NEMA 6-20 & NEMA 5-15?

Yeah I saw that. Another PE takeover destroying a division of a company that made a decent EVSE charger...

    Any alternative to MUSTART Level 1& 2 12/16A NEMA 6-20 & NEMA 5-15?

I know. They've also been used as OEM chargers by BMW. Hence why I'm thinking of getting one in case the Zencar fails...

    Any alternative to MUSTART Level 1& 2 12/16A NEMA 6-20 & NEMA 5-15?

Zencar makes a charger that can be limited to 16A. It used to be sold on Amazon. I've had no issues with it (knock on wood). Though it's not UL certified. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B091YQNMP9 Though I've also heard good things about this WEBASTO TurboCord charger...

    Any updates on CCS1?

That's good to know. I wonder if adding a Nissan Ariya in the tesla app would work as well? Not that it matters...

Chademo Charging Adaptor to CCS1/2/. What is the best adaptor on the market for my 2022 leaf?

The A2Z EV adapter. Backed by the seller, it is IP54 (mating) and IP67 (enclosing) certified and has a 12-month warranty. https://a2zevshop.com/products/ccs1-to-chademo?variant=43661439533256

Recall R24B2: Battery State of Charge

Yes, it used to give $100 off. I tried it today and it only reduces the price to $949.05 USD. It seems like a good option. Though I saw the Accraine adapter is now 700 GBP (https://accraine.co.uk/product/ccs1-to-chademo-dc-electric-vehicle-adapter/).

Tesla Supercharger access for Nissan EV's ... still 'coming soon'

Yeah, paying for both adapters isn't worth it if one owns a gen one leaf. It might make more sense if you have a gen two or a gen two plus that *can* get an estimated range of 215 miles.

Recall R24B2: Battery State of Charge

I'm going to guess it has something to do with thermal throttling temperature control. I may have tempted fate here, but I have done some 50 kw/hr fast charging with my 2019 SV plus leaf. It could be the cold temperatures I experienced last week in the Mid-Atlantic area, but I didn't see any...

Recall P4A17: HVAC control software for enhanced defrost performance under certain cold start conditions

Yes just got this in the mail. In a odd twist of fate, I actually had it fixed/updated way back in the beginning of November. Honestly I'm more annoyed about recall R24B2, there isn't going to be a fix until MARCH 2025! So much for it being fixed this month...😢...
