Damn Bumper!!! It has started to squeak when I'm driving its so loud I can sometimes hear it over my music... so annoyed. Back to the dealer I go. :(

I guess I'll keep ignoring it too. Lol! It looks really neat but wish there was more to it than that... The manual is vague when it comes to the solar cell too... Oh well. I guess in 3yrs when my lease is up it'll be kool to see if they incorporate more solar cell tech.

My leaf is equipped with the solar cell module, is there any way to see if its actually working? Or any way to monitor it like on the nav screen? For all I know it could be on the car for aesthetics... I have no idea if its actually providing any charge to the 12v battery.

I can only smell it now when I put my nose to it... other than that its dissipated. I guess my only concern is mold... whats under the carpet? Should I be worried? It was wet for maybe a few hours before I noticed it and vacuumed it out and aired it out with the sun hitting it directly.

Was able to vacuum out the water last night. Today I aired it out, smells terrible like a wet dog.

Took less than a day and I got my leaf back! They were able to refit my rear bumper; looks perfect now! My service advisor did say the problem is with the rear quarter panels not the bumper. He also said if I wanted I could bring it back and have the quarter panels adjusted... I don't think...

Whoa! I could tell right away where it was off without even reading your post! Any plans to take it to the dealer?? Could it have been in an accident before you bought it? I was curious why doesn't the leaf have VIN sticker on any of the panels or doors? My Z had them on all panels.

Thats nuts! I guess that explains why all the 2013 Leafs have the same issue... I did some adjustments today on the bumper, It helped but its still a tiny bit off. I too can see where the paint could start to scrap off as its pinched tight on the drivers side compared to the passenger side...

Where's the QC on these Leafs!? I would think someone would be inspecting the panels making sure they are correctly in place. In the grandscheme of things I am leasing so its not bugging me too much. Hopefully tomorrow I can take a good look at it and make some adjustments.

I wouldn't mind seeing some pics! As far as I can tell that seems to be the only misaligned piece. Like I said every leaf on the lot had the same misalignment in the same spot! I might take it some time this week to get it looked at. I wish I could just adjust it myself...
