Agreed! I tried it the next day and worked perfectly and has since. Will try to keep this thread informed as I figure this out.

I appreciate that as last night I could not get it to charge at all, then today it was fine. It was too dark and I was too tired to try to sort it out last night, so i think I'll try to blow both connections out wiht compressed air and see if I can determine any other problems.
