    62kw battery balancing

Seems like your kinda in the same situation im in. One of your cells, many of mine, are of a higher capacity than the other cells in the battery. The cells have an effective voltage from about 2.9 - 4.2volts, and the capacity is determined by the physical size, chemisty and age of the cell. In...

    62kw battery balancing

Update, Got the leaf down to 28% and the pack was at 18mv difference https://ibb.co/Lhk62Jt Took a reading at 68% and it was 60mv difference https://ibb.co/s5YTQms So I can only assume the pack will be balanced when the Soc is 15% or so. Makes sense considering the new cells are effectively a...

    62kw battery balancing

So it makes sense, the cells that have been in the vehicle for 3 years have a lower capacity now than the new cells. If they were all balanced at low voltage the older cells will reach full voltage first. The balancing circuit will never keep up with the difference in capacity, so there will...

E-MotorWerks JuiceBox - an open source 15kW EVSE

Figured it out. The load has to be placed on the vehicle side of the current sensor. I tried and the GFCI trip instantly. Still a little unclear on the on board testing procedure, but hopefully the new instructions clear it up. Dave

E-MotorWerks JuiceBox - an open source 15kW EVSE

I have my v8.9 installed and it is charging the Leaf great fron 240v, 27.5A, but the GFCI seems to not be working. Everything is hooked up correctly and I have verified power to the GFCI test circuit. J cable hot leads are routed through current sensor correctly. I used a GFCI tester and...

No history in energy info screen

Hi, I have had my pearl white SV for a month now and 800 miles. It's great! In the energy info screen I get nothing for the history. Every other screen seems to work, instant economy etc. Any ideas? Thanks, Dave
