    Nissan Connect/Carwings won't update

Nope, still doesn't function as well as the old app. I had to pull fuse 34 again 2 days ago just to connect again! Wish Nissan would get their act together on this communication stuff.

    Nissan Connect/Carwings won't update

Good news to report is nothing seems to have been wiped out except the login information and I already had that printed out anyway. The better news is that I can communicate with the car as normal again. I finally decided to pull fuse 34 as was recommended previously. I unplugged the car...

    Nissan Connect/Carwings won't update

Tried that without any results so went ahead and hit the defaults reset without results also. Spent 1.5 hours in a chat session with Nissan and all that resulted was them telling me they would escalate my problem and send me an email when/if it gets resolved. Still waiting on that email for...

    Nissan Connect/Carwings won't update

So simply deleting the charge locations may fix this problem? That is interesting and I will try that soon. I was reluctant to hit the screen button that said "reset to defaults" for fear it may affect the TCU upgrade I already paid $199 for.

    Nissan Connect/Carwings won't update

I started having this problem recently and wondered if it has anything to do with several different factors. First I noticed that the app was recently updated and since that time I haven't been able to get the driving history or route planning to work. I get the error 404 message when I try...

How Old is YOUR 12 volt Battery?

I would unplug but when its 10 degrees in the garage, I like to prewarm the car before driving it using the charger power rather than battery range. My 12v battery is getting a charge externally at the moment since it dies on me yesterday. I'm hoping it will charge up and be good to go once again.

36,495 miles and the brake warning light came on.

My 2012 started lighting the ABS warning a few weeks ago. At first I could just turn the car off and back on it would stay off. Last week it came on 5 times in one day so I read the code and it said RR RH Sensor (C1101). I bought the car last April as a CPO so in hopes it would be covered, I...

NissanConnect EV / Telematics Hardware Update, for the post-2G world

I'm going to just try going without it for awhile to see if I really need it. I'm hoping that Nissan will drop the price for those of us that hold out...lol. ;)

    Annual battery check

I was in the dealer getting the airbag software recall done for our '16 Rogue and decided to inquire when our '12 Leaf (that we purchased at the same time back in April '16) when the annual battery check needs to be done since the car is a CPO and I want to make sure the warranty is kept good...

    Nissan is Responsive

This may become a problem for some Nissan dealers when the Bolt is released. There is a Chevy dealer right across the street from ours so I can see people with capacity issues plugging in and shopping for a Bolt while waiting for the frequently needed charge. Hope Tesla opens a showroom near...

EVgo nrv QC display -- questions

That brings me to a question I have about Chargepoint. On their app I located a free station downtown and when I arrived it says EVgo on the units. I looked at the screen and it says Chargepoint. There was already a Ford charging and I could see by his unit screen he was getting a charge so I...

Fired for charging EV at work!

This is the most likely reason. Someone driving a gas hog probably resented a temp driving an EV and using company electricity in their face was viewed as a benefit they themselves didn't have. It's always easier to take the simplest approach to solving such whining by tenured employees and...

Seriously, does CPO really buy me anything?

At least it's good for something. I'm sure if any of those things go before the time or mileage is up, it will save me some money there. Thanks for the reply.

Seriously, does CPO really buy me anything?

Does a CPO do anything to extend the capacity warranty on the traction battery?

Down three capacity bars. How soon will I loose my 4th capacity bar

Wow...jumped from 11 bars to 9 in 2 days? I was bummed when mine dropped 1 bar from 11 to 10 in just over a month from purchase but never heard of a drop like you had. Sounds like it could be a battery defect instead of just capacity degradation. Keep us updated.

    Capacity Loss on 2011-2012 LEAFs

Hindsight ......now I'm torn between trying to be as hard as I can on my battery in hopes that it might drop 2 more bars in the required time/miles or treat it with care to try and make the battery last at least until my Model 3 reservation comes up or the price of a replacement battery gets...

    Capacity Loss on 2011-2012 LEAFs

How do I find out the details about that "Legal Class Owners" since I just bought my '12 and lost the 2nd bar before even making the first payment?

    Capacity Loss on 2011-2012 LEAFs

I have not read all the post here but I must say that when I lost my second bar today, I'm not sure if it's good or bad news. I bought my '12 Leaf 4/2/16 with 41,712 miles and 11 bars showing. I have no idea when the first bar dropped but I was hoping it would be awhile before losing the...

    NissanConnect being buggy

The 2G service can be very slow at times and I've found that sometimes I may get a box that says it's not connecting but if I hit the back button on my phone, all the info I was trying to get is actually there. I also have found that closing the app and restarting it when I need it works better...
