I at least have another winter and spring on the stock tires, but next summer I will probably get the skinnier tires. It should reduce surface friction and wind resistance a tad.
I got a 2019 S with steel 16" rims. I am thinking when the stock tires wear out finally, I will go with the skinny tire 195/60/r16 instead of the OEM 205/55/r16. Has anybody tried this yet? The tires appear to weight slightly less and are just slightly taller (which would be nice to get my spedo...
How do I post in the marketplace? I don't see a create new thread button there like I do in the general forums. I want to post a wanted thread for a set of rims.
Has anyone been able to get a software update on the 2018 S models? The ones without the wifi connection? My bluetooth was acting weird a few times now and was wondering if there are any software updates to fix it or just any updates in general?
Which nissan vehicles can I find in the junk yard with alloy rims that will fit my 2019 leaf s? I would prefer 16 inch rims, they weigh less and give more sidewall, but if I find a set of 17s that would be ok too.
Why would you see an efficency increase? It doesn't make sense. That is probably a whole inch larger in diameter. Everyone here has been saying you should have had a decrease
I have been thinking of upgrading my stock 205/55/16 to 205/60/16. I think it will help with making those bumps and pot holes seem a bit smaller. I wasn't sure though if it will actually help with my range, since I am mostly driving at 65-80 mph. I won't do it if it decreases my range. Fixing...
If I get a taller tire than the stock tire that comes on the stock 16in steel rims, will this improve my range at highway speeds? Since the engine would be rotating slower because the tires are bigger is my thought. But I have no idea.
Chilly 19 degrees this morning. I drove the normal 27.5 miles and got 3 miles a kwh on the dash. I had a full charge with preheated and used 29 percent of the battery. I went from an estimated 150mile range to 105miles. I used the heat sparingly when I needed to defrost. I drove around 70-80 mph...
ok I think I found the main problem. PSI was at 31 in the tires. I guess the change in elevation and the cold makes my tires softer. I will check how this affects things. Isn't the recommended psi like 36?
I need to run that defroster or my windows will be foggy and sometimes icy. Its better to use it while its plugged than not is my thought. I use the resistance heater sparingly after that.
I mentioned I use 69% more power. When I left this morning it said I had 77 miles of range. When I arrived from my 27.5 mile commute it said I have 31 miles of range left, just barely enough to make it back home. The 19 more miles used than what was predicted represents a 69% more that what it...
I use about 69% more battery when I am driving at temperatures around freezing than when I am driving at 60 degrees f. Does this seem unusual? I park my car outside and preheat before I leave. I also do mainly highway driving. The cold is sucking the life out of my battery. 2019 leaf s here. I...
Anybody know if the 205/65/16 will fit? I would like to get some to slow down the speedo some and get a little more ground clearance. It would also help with using less electricity at high speeds right?
This is what I am probably going to buy today

It mentions, mid year change. What did they change?
I am curious about electric vehicle and actually almost bought a leaf but decided on a Hyundai accent for the same price. Close by no cigar...
Anyways, now I am interested in getting my own solar panel system. This whole solar idea brings to mind that solar panels provide DC power. The leaf...
