It's a RFID key card. You place it by the "B" pillar to get in. Once inside with card you can start the car. The phone app gives you more features.

I assume it was in neutral as the car coasted until I stopped it. There was no gear selection illuminated as the dash was dark.

Just tried both methods. Car went into neutral,no power steering, but was still able to steer with greater effort. Car stopped fine as hydraulic boost was still three. It was actually easier to hit the button three times rather then holding. I would suggest trying it in a empty parking lot to...

My car has been in the service dept. since 8:00 am and now they say I won't get it til 5:00 pm Monday. Does it take two full days to swap the traction battery?

My new battery has came in and I am getting it installed tomorrow.

After a 4 hour wait at dealership, I been informed I qualify for a new battery on my 2011 Leaf. They have ordered the battery and install kit. No idea of delivery date.
