80% Charging anytime, all the time

Picked up my car on Memorial Day. I've tried twice to use L1 charger to 80%. No success. I set the timer to 12am start & 12am complete. Went to 100%. Am I missing some key step? So far CARWINGS is not reporting a thing. I get info from the Nissan Owner site, but Carwings is blank. Says...

    Nissan's Included L1 (120v) EVSE

Are you saying it can be charged every day, regardless of the amount of charge used? For ideal battery life, shouldn't the battery drop to 20% before charging up to 80%?

Dealers Who Offer Public Charging (and those who don't)

Houston update - Baker Nissan has two Level 2 Chargers at each of their two locations - Baker South at 610 South Loop/Buffalo Speedway and 290/North Eldridge Pkwy. Baker plays well with all LEAF owners, and welcomes them to their dealership. Hey you SOCAL folks - if you can make it across AZ &...

    Charging Rudeness?

I checked in with Baker Nissan in Houston - they welcome all LEAF owners if anyone needs a charge. They have two locations, and each has two Level 2 chargers available. Hopefully the dealers who don't believe in customer service will eventually suffer the fates.

Dealers Who Offer Public Charging (and those who don't)

Wow - I'm so impressed that Amarillo has charging stations! I'm in Houston & still awaiting my Leaf. Baker Nissan here has one public charging station. So far I haven't seen anyone using it. Maybe because there are only about 30 Leafs in the city...spread out over 100 sq miles. Still...

    May Deliveries! Or... May(be)?

I've been pushed to May 23 from the initial announcement of April 25. When I called today I was given an interesting story by CS - the cars are covered in a thick and baked on pollen (!) which must be carefully removed. THIS is the reason it's taken so long. (oh, so all the prior explanations...

    Aerovironment EVSE install information

I've been going round & round with AV and with the Texas partner - EVGo. In spite of them assessing my home as 'standard install', their initial pricing was $2800 because they consider it 'custom'. After several weeks and many conversations, today they lowered their price to $2400. Funny...

    May Deliveries! Or... May(be)?

Spoke with Nissan CS today (again). They're telling me there are 3 phases after the Leaf arrives at the Port, and at each phase the delivery date may change. At arrival, they assign a delivery date (for me, April 25). Next phase is the technology upgrade, at which time the delivery date is...

    May Deliveries! Or... May(be)?

What day did I order/reserve? May 20, 2010 according to the Nissan site. Anyhow, would that change the facts of where the car is and the reason for the delays?

    May Deliveries! Or... May(be)?

I was scheduled for a 'week of April 25' delivery, then mid week moved to 'week of May 11', and yesterday again moved to 'week of May 18.' Nissan tells me the car has been here since mid-April, and that they don't assign the VIN until it's in port. Is that really true? I keep asking...
