Yeah, we just starting hitting the 4th tier (Edison) with getting the car last month. I wanted to give it a couple more months to see how the bill is looking. I'm charging both at home and work, guessing about 250 kwh a month at home. The second meter could save $40+ a month.

I've gotten one quote for $1100 for installing the box, breakers, hooking it up to exsisting 220v line and getting it ready for electric company to install meter. What are some of the prices or quotes you are getting. I'm still on the fence for getting a second meter, if the long term saving...

Picked up mine last night at First Nissan in Simi Valley, with seven miles on it. Grew 3 trees on the way to work this morning. :D
