2022 SV+ with 20,093 miles. SOH at 93.22%.

I charged at a peak of 74.2KW on a new Duke Energy Shell Recharge station listed at 150kW. I didn't record any Leafspy data but I go by this station often so I'll do it next time.

Took my LeafSpy reading on 1/16, SOH 94.83% so no positive adjustment yet but not bad either.

I tried to buy one the day Tesla began offering the $7500 discount but the 200 mile search went from 15 vehicles to none in a few hours. Now, most Model Y's won't qualify for the $7,500 tax credit. Hopefully Tesla will respond with a sub $55k model that qualifies for the tax credit or come up...

Why is the Leaf more problematic?

I'm guessing most of you have seen Kyles Out of Spec deep freeze charging video. While the 2013 Leaf didn't charge due to a dead 12v battery, the 2023 Leaf SV+ began charging almost immediately around 5kw. Kyle unfortunately didn't record any leafspy information but the car had been sitting...

great info! questions? 1. Is your Leaf garaged all winter? 2. I would assume you have back to back days where you don't drive the car for whatever reason and the car gets really frozen. Do you notice any change in charging if the car is really frozen? 3. Do you charge to 100% daily?

I view this as a step in the right direction for the futue of EV's and the Leaf in general. Non structural pack EV's with easy to open and reseal pack shells are prime targets for upgrading to whatever the latest cell chemistry it that offers increased safety, energy density, cold weather...

Pack looks great except for that one cell, shame they can't replace that cell and rebalance the pack.

several sites now quote Nissan engineers as saying there have been "chemsitry changes" to the cells to acheive minor but greater efficiency. I've searched around and haven't been able to find any information about these cell changes.

You would certainly think so with Aryia having no chance of qualifying for the tax credit and the Leaf being sold out pretty much everywhere.
