Congrats on your new leaf! I look forward to seeing more leafers on the roads of Oregon! I did some quick research on the Patriot Act requirements for car purchases. Executive order 13224 seems to be the instigator for the "credit check" which really seems to be a background check with OFAC...

Congrats January round of Portland Leafers! "Month of April" seems so far away for me!

Received my "sometime in April" email as well. Bets on early vs. late April?

    My LEAFs Coming in March

Received my "sometime in April" notice as well. The etec evse hasn't been scheduled yet, so I assume that is "sometime in march". Unfortunately, my current lease ends early March, so I have to figure out wheels for 1-2 months. :( Although the prospect of renting a new car every week sounds...

Fantastic! I was hoping Government Camp would be seen as a potential site. Camp 18 is a great selection as well.

Questions we still have about Nissan Leaf

question: Connecting to the car via smartphone (android, blackberry, etc.) vs. iPhone. Are there any differences?

    ECOtality Commericial DC Fast Charger

I agree. Well placed stations with more than just a 2-bit convenience store on hand would be preferred. Otherwise I'll be doing more reading while waiting for a 80% fill.

Nice. The Croatian version of White Zombie for sure!

    Buying a LEAF....or not? Thoughts.

If I didn't have a wife and kid who would be commuting along I would be considering the Arcimoto Pulse. http://www.arcimoto.com/ Or just converting a classic ICE body to electric. But that would require time and money, things I do not have in excess at the moment. :) Best of luck on...

Although technically not Portland, I'd love to see what Vancouver,WA will have available as well. The current charging maps are quite dry for our neighbors in Vancouver.

    Post Your Order Details Here

I think you can understand that we're all in the 2011 delivery boat by now. I don't think anyone would be in a rush when they get quoted at $1999/month lease rates. It's just a car and I didn't set the order process, but I apologize if my less than enthusiastic approach has annoyed anyone.

I'm interested in a leaf but the lease rates from advertised to actual are quote bloated.

It's working fine for me, not sure if you are trying to be snarky. Like I said, I'm just testing dealers and I'm not in a rush.

I've played the game a little differently since I'm in no hurry to get the leaf. I didn't discuss prices with a dealer at all and was just curious what numbers would pop out of the system. So, I selected a dealer in my area and added $250 in options. The first quote came at $429/month with...

My RAQ dashboard opened up today as well. No email sent, I expect that will deliver sometime tonight. Now on to the details.....

Thoroughbred Nissan (Tucson, AZ) $1,165 over MSRP (sort of)

The "undercoating" and "Paint sealing" are scams as far as I'm concerned. Fabric protection is usually overpriced and something you can do yourself if you care. Tint, well, I usually wear shades. As for what to do, I'd change dealers. Just on principle.

One more day till august pre-orders...let's guess about Sept

I've been conditioned by Nissan enough to think that if they say "some time in September" they mean, September 30, 11:59PM. Hey, at least they are not on Aptera Time. ;)

I'm also signed up at Wilsonville. It's true that they reached out to OEVA, but my main reason is that I'm within close proximity to them during work hours. I think I saw a deal for Intel employees concerning Leaf for ~$500 at the following url: https://discounts.intel.com/ I'm not at...

3 Car seats in the back of a LEAF is possible

I'd be curious to know if there are 2 or 3 sets LATCH connectors. Most C class I have seen only have 2 sets of LATCH connectors.
