Hmmm... I'm thinking about buying a trailor hitch, attaching a Thule-type carrier (ventilated), and putting 1 or 2 EU2000i generators in it. I don't always have to lug this around but it sure would be nice to have when needed.
Any feedback is greatly appreciated!
Thanks for the 411! I'm thinking about buying a trailor hitch, attaching a Thule-type carrier (ventilated), and putting 1 or 2 EU2000i generators in it. I don't always have to lug this around but it sure would be nice to have when needed.
I know this is a solar panel discussion but I was just made aware that a Honda EU2000i portable generator is the way to go. Rather expensive at about $1k but may be worth it for the convenience of being able to extend my range while my car is parked outside work (8hrs/day). Any thoughts?
I really appreciate your post and 411. Call me crazy but I think if someone were to sell a portable solar panel that could be placed on top of a Leaf and charge your car it would be a GOLD MINE! Thanks again!
Sounds like a lot of money to add solar panels to the roof of a Leaf. I live in S. NV and park my car outside in the sun for approx. 8hrs. each day. I would love to be able to get an extra 20 miles of range by trickle charging it w/solar panels during this time. Does anyone have suggestions...
