    End of Lease Strategies?

Well, we just turned ours in today. It had just lost it's second bar. Process was pretty easy. Scheduled the inspection for this morning and dropped it off this afternoon. All in all, we've been very happy with the car, and were kind of sad to see it go. We are going to take a long look at...

Problems with Nissan Service Departments in Los Angeles

I don't know how long of a drive it would be for you, but I've had good luck with Fontana Nissan's service department. They haven't tried to upsell me on anything and usually have me out of there pretty quickly.

    End of Lease Strategies?

I received a call from NMAC last week regarding the years extension (with two month's credit) or the $5000 off. They said I had until June 30th to decide. Sounds like it's a moving window for now.

    End of Lease Strategies?

Just received a call from my dealer. They offered me $5000 ( or rather Nissan Finance) off of the current residual value of my car if I want to keep it (That would have put it about $20000). I still have 10 months left on my existing lease. I've lost one bar in the last couple of months...

any tips driving from Los ANgeles to Palm Springs?

I know they have installed a level 3 at a 7-Eleven on Waterman exit at Hospitality off of I-10 in San Bernardino, but I haven't used it yet. East of Redlands, things get a little light. There is a level 2 as mentioned at a Walgreens in Beaumont and I think that's pretty much it until you get...

Not Driving Vehicle for Three Weeks

I just returned from a three week absence myself. I just followed the procedures mentioned (leave at least half charged and unplugged) and everything was fine when I got home Saturday. :D

    Recommended dealers near Riverside, CA?

I ended up leasing mine at Fontana Nissan. They seemed to be the most knowledgeable dealer in the local area.

Wait time for California DMV carpool stickers?

Mine took over two months to get. But they do eventually arrive. The first clue they were coming was when my check finally cleared. :D

    Should Electric Cars Be Quieter?

They have an article in the LA Times also: http://www.latimes.com/business/autos/la-fi-hy-autos-dot-noise-rules-hybrid-electric-vehicles-20130108,0,7124402.story I thought this was already a requirement and that's why Nissan removed the disable switch in the 2012 models.
