I wonder what the seating height will be like in the Bolt? Looks taller than the Volt. Hoping it is even taller than my Leaf. I like sitting up high. Also easier to get in and out. I test drove a BMW i3. I really liked the driver's seating position in that car (along with everything but price).

Not exactly a glowing review of the ICE version of the 2014 Outlander in the latest edition of Consumer Reports. :( I think they gave it a 58 overall score.

I feel just the opposite. I think the Prius is ugly but my Leaf is very distinctive looking (though I wish it didn't have a simular profile to the Versa). Our "Froggy" is really cute. :mrgreen:

If it comes in at $35,000 after rebates and includes adaptive cruise control then I will sell/trade my 2013 Ford Escape (providing it is as comfortable and as much fun to drive). I just can't stand having a vehicle burning gas and money at every stoplight. I have become spoiled by my Leaf.

I would tell them that we need all options right now. We are in a nasty cycle right now where as the world economy slows down oil costs drop. When things start to pick up, oil costs soar and slow the economy again.

I think the plug in hybrid is going to become big at first. The EV will then start catching on (especially if range improves and costs go down).

Consumer Reports just got some of their latest reliability ratings in. The 2011 Leaf is all full orange circles (well above average for reliability in every category). :)

I make this trip all the time in my ICE. Maybe when EV's are more common some Reno casinos could sponsor some charging stations along the way.

I like the motor whine. :) Seriously, the lack of the whine was one of the things I didn't like about the Ford Focus Electric.
