That's probably a $500 job. Dealer charges $150 for a diagnosis..applied to the cost if I proceed. Think I will cancel my service appointment..AM radio not worth that amount of money.

I am wondering if the antenna is amplified and if so, where the fuse might be.

AM and FM..(Sirius is OK,) has very poor reception until the radio has been on for about 10 minutes. Then it is OK. This just started..any ideas? My car is a '13 SL.

Isn't this a warranty issue for Nissan to address and resolve? (Either they replace the bad module ..replace the car..replace the entire pack..)

Thanks to everyone for the thoughtful comments. The shop did run a battery load test and found it to be completely dead and after 4.5 years of use, I do not feel that the dealer had any fault in the battery having failed..like someone walking into a hospital at the age of 90 to have a splinter...

Mine crashed at 4.5 years..22.600 miles.. and you don't want for that to happen. TERRIFYING..a complete system shut down with a 5 second warning. I am only glad I was not at 30,000 feet or over the Potomac River, as I am not Captain Skully. Nevertheless, I managed to get it out of the traffic...

If it smells like "bad feet," it is because bacteria/mold has grown on the evaporator collector plates. Try spraying 409 or a disinfectant into the air intake with the fan on high. You may need to do that several times. Once it has stopped smelling..assuming you have now killed the mold.. be...

RE your 2-13 post..one would think Nissan would at the very least have a SL there and not a SV!! Like a really "buffed out" black on black SL, with 220 charging station attatched. (They could have borrowed my '13!! :D )

Problem solved..I deleted the MY-CAR from my phone and then reinstalled it. After I did that, they connected right up. Thanks for all of the assistance..that's what we are here for..to pass along our wisdom and to offer suggestions when asked.

I did shut everything down to reboot if that's what you mean by deleting it.

Suddenly my cell phone will not connect to the bluetooth..I tried to get it to connect to my wife's phone, but not with it either. This is in my '13 SL Any suggestions?
