EVSE Upgrade to Swap is sold

FYI, look at your lease documents. You are not required to return your EVSE with your lease return. There is no need for you to "swap" with someone.

Returning a Lease - Pay for wear and tear items ?

I had scratches, dents, and the plastic on a side mirror that was busted off from the side of the garage. Didn't get charged for any of it. Also, I had the 4 original tires on the Leaf, with 40k miles, still had 4/32 left so they didn't charge me anything for them.

Returning a Lease - Pay for wear and tear items ?

You are supposed to get an inspection up to 2 months before turn in. They will print you out exactly what you'll be charged for. You can then determine if it's cheaper to have it fixed yourself or just turn it in and pay for it.

concerned about range on used 2011 Leaf

My 2011 Leaf could no longer do a 72 RT commute without charging in between after about 2 1/2 years, and that was keeping my speed under 60 mph. This is in the Los Angeles Area.

Wholesale value of the 2011 Leaf @Auction March 2018

My residual was $15,800, sold at auction for $11,400 last week. I turned it in in at least Average condition and 5,000 miles under the 15k/year lease rate. No wear and tear items were charged to me. So I'd say, for at least this example, about $4k lower.

A Note From A Leaf Salesman

Ok, that makes more sense.. but I still couldn't imagine gambling for some of my salary. Also, the surveys shouldn't be the "majority" of your salary. Your pay shouldn't be determined by an inconsistent metric (ie different customers understanding a rating differently). I agree with an earlier...

A Note From A Leaf Salesman

In your first post you mention this: Mostly because of the "spin", but you said you get at least $200 on your spin. In another post, you say this: But that's not really accurate.. You'll never only make $1200-1500/month because you are guaranteed a spin of at least $200. I love how the...

Swap non EVSEUpgrade LEAF Panasonic for 2013+ EVSEUpgrade

    SoCal Branch Year 4 LEAF-Gatherings - See Year 5

I have a 16Amp EVSE Upgrade from the original 2011 Nissan Leaf that I'm willing to part with now that my Leaf is turned in and I didn't get charged for not including it. Would prefer to sell locally and willing to drop off at the Santa Ana gathering this weekend. Also included is the 120V...

    Capacity Loss on 2011-2012 LEAFs

I'm turning in my Leaf today for the end of the 3 year Leaf, I was really hoping that 4th bar would drop before turn-in, but it looks like it's going to hang on.

    Capacity Loss on 2011-2012 LEAFs

I don't have any of the tools (Gidmeter, LeafApp, etc) to do any measurements in my 3-bar Socal loser, but I am going to be out of town next weekend (Feb 7-9) so if anyone is interested in doing any range tests or anything like that, I can make it available. I'm in Orange, CA. I have yet to do...

    Capacity Loss on 2011-2012 LEAFs

I love the Leaf and agree that BEVs are the way to go. Unfortunately, I don't see my commute changing anytime in the near future and therefor, I'm not willing to deal with what I'm dealing with today in 2 years, even with the QC. I bought the Leaf originally mainly for the HOV access, but any...

    Capacity Loss on 2011-2012 LEAFs

A year ago I'd set the cruise control to 62 to work and 65 home. By the end of summer id set it to 58. I finally gave in about November when it got cold and I needed the heat in the morning. Now I just sneak out at lunch and QC. Everyone there knows me and no one gives me any grief. I am ready...

    Capacity Loss on 2011-2012 LEAFs

Lost 3rd bar today. 36997 miles, build date is 4/11. In Orange, CA. Only have 4 more months on my lease, so don't think I'll lose the 4th bar before then. I now have to quick charge in Hawthorne to make my 76 miles RT commute, where as a year ago I could do the commute just fine.

Work with Disney to make Autopia a proper Tomorrowland ride.

Disneyland has ended their sponsorship with Chevron, it's no longer on the signage at the ride. The last rumor I've seen is they plan on tearing out the whole thing plus the submarines and the innovations building and putting in an Marvel/Ironman ride.

    Capacity Loss on 2011-2012 LEAFs

If anyone wants to do the Turbo3 Battery App thingy on my recently lost 2 capacity bar Leaf, you are more than welcome. I'm actually working from home for the rest of the week. (although I have appts Thur 8-12 and Friday 1-5) Do I need it charged to 100%? 80%?

    Capacity Loss on 2011-2012 LEAFs

Mike, you are correct, my commute is to El Segundo (LAAFB). My leaf is garages and my garage has a south facing metal door with no insulation. I do believe that is a big part of the issue, but in a town home community I can't park in the alley and I certainly wasn't going to pay to have a evse...
