hi my name's Torrey I have been working on the 2010 Nissan leaf for a while now trying to figure out why the SAE j 1773 port won't charge the car but the level two evse quick charge port works it acts like there's a solenoid or something stuck open or closed. does anybody know how I can troubleshoot this?

I've checked the port to make sure that there is the right voltage. that nothing is damaged.. so when I plug in the j 1772 the car will beep but the lights won't come on on the dash to tell me what's going on how push the charge timer button so that I can charge it right now that does nothing. when push the button and put it into drive mode in the j 1772 plug is plugged in it will say that it's plugged in. I took out the inverter to look at it to see if there was something wrong and when I hook the 12 volt battery up to roll up the windows because it started to rain without the inverter in it and the main power to the battery unplugged the lights on the dash came on and went to its normal post, this hasn't happened for over a year now.. uhgg

sorry I'm all over the place explaining this I'm just so frustrated I tried everything I could find from different forums from the YouTube videos I guess it's going to be probably the battery's and the inboard charger. can anyone help please

.

With so many mixed up terms and contradicting statements, I have no idea what your trying to say.
There is no 2010 Leaf, they started in 2011, so have no idea what you are working on.
J1773 and J1772 are not the same thing, so again I have no idea what you are saying
Leaf uses Chademo for DC fast charging (FC is only available on some models)
Level 2 is 240 volt input to the OBC
Level 1 is 120 volt input to the OBC
Both are accessed via the J1772 charge port.
If in fact you have a 2011, then the OBC behind the rear seat, they have a tract record of failure, but more diagnosing is required.
