Hi I have a early 2015 Leaf....very basic Visia model.

Have had it since the beginning of the year and it runs and drives spot on and for a small battery Leaf it does well and has a strong battery (11 bars...was 12, but recently dropped a bar)

The one fault on it which I've had since I got the car is that there is absolutely no Heat available, even when you crank it upto 30c on the dial and press the Heat Button.

When you press the Heat button the range drops as you would expect, but sadly no heat.

Saying that I also have no A/C, so in hot weather no cold A/C blowing through.

Have checked fuses under the bonnet but nothing seems amiss.

Any thoughts on a solution or a known fix???

I think your Leaf is doing well overall, but that lack of heat (and A/C) is a bummer, and since you’ve already checked the fuses, it might be worth looking into the cabin heater or the thermostat, those can be sneaky culprits. If all else fails, a trip to a mechanic who knows their way around Leafs could help you get toasty again.

Hi thanks for your message. Since I posted my troubles, I purchased an OBD dongle and the Leaf Spy App and it's showing that my Cabin Heater unit has packed up. So now it's a question of whether to go to the expense of replacing it or horror of horrors fitting a cheaper Chinese Diesel Heater in the rear of the car.

Glad you figured out the issue...Replacing the cabin heater is costly but reliable, while a diesel heater might save you money now but could cause complications later.
