If you set SOH back to what it was initially, are the bars restored?

Probably flogging a dead horse, just updated a LBC out of the battery, reset the soh and charge count, but now in leaf spy it isn't showing any charge count at all, possibly a bug in leaf spy, it's an old LBC that isn't likely to go back in a battery so I am not worried, just thought I'd share my 10cents

Charge count isn't shown in that screen, you'll need to read ECU data in the other screen to show lxcx, at least that's how my leafspy works

¿Y la resincronización de LxCx en Leafspy cambia el recuento de barras?

Al reiniciar el LxCx no hace nada

¿Esto suena como el problema de 2018+ donde las barras bajaron? No estoy seguro de si se refieren a que después del reinicio de SOH, pasaron de 10 barras a 4 barras.

A mí también me sucedió lo mismo con 2 leaf uno paso de 5 a 4 barras pero paso de dar 60km a 145km, pasó de 8kw a 19kw y el otro paso de 10 a 4 barras y marcaba 110km a 180km, paso de 16kw a 21kw, parece que si se vuelve a revivir las baterías, el leaf que solo daba 60km ya no regenera y después del reinicio ya regenera los 5 círculos, algo les pasa al reiniciar las baterías que se vuelven a revivir solo falta solucionar el problema que se quedan en 4 barras.

It appears the capacity bars are dropping to 4 for several people

Safetyuggs is developing and testing on the original ZE0 2011-2012 leaf

Users reporting bars dropping to 4 are AZE0 2013-2017 leaf owners I believe

The handling of battery communications are different between the ZE0 and AZE0 models, with ZE0 having some functions in the VCM. You explained this to me when one of your can bridges was giving strange output on the instrument cluster when installed in a ZE0 (displaying 12 capacity bars when the replacement AZE0 battery only had Soh = 75%)

Whenever EVs Enhanced do battery upgrades in ZE0, they use a can bridge AND do a VCM reflash as well to fix this issue

I'm thinking the same thing appears to be happening here

Safetyuggs isn't seeing the issue, because he is testing on the ZE0

I think there may be a reset sequence for the VCM, or perhaps a pairing sequence. It's not something I've logged while using the Consult3 but when it cools down a bit here I'll do more logging. If Nissans own hardware can perform a reset then I don't believe a VCM reflash should be needed. It's likely something simple I've overlooked. I think Dala's logs were filted for only BMS comms so they won't be in there either.

From the screenshot that erikrangel posted, it looks like the bars are scaled based on AH number. So when AH number is incorrectly reset from 46 -> 25Ah, it messes up the bars. Maybe we need to look into getting Ah set correctly to get the bars right?

Good idea. To confirm, i'll add a button that'll send a larger AH value and if the bars jump on the dash, we know the cause
