Yeah I found you need to drive the car or do a charge cycle for the reset to 'stick'. also, leaf spy's HX math is wrong, it'll never show 100% due to them dividing the raw value by 1024, vs 1000 that the bms code uses.Tried the app on my 2014 leaf and reset the SOH to 100 and said the HX was reset to 100% but showed HX as 97.66% on leaf spy, but battery bars stayed exactly the same and AH was unchanged.
I have in the past reset the bms with a topon diagnostic box and that was able to reset the SOH etc but could never reset the battery bars. I wonder if leafs 2013 or earlier can reset their bars and Nissan updated the firmware on later models so battery bars would not reset?
Also when I have reset the BMS before I have to take car out and drive somewhere before the reset on the AH actually changes, wonder if that same will happen to the AH with this app too?
Before and after photos with the app.

I had this problem too (4 bars), the solution described in this post helpedIs there any way to reset the bms to the state before the soh and hx modification? Thanks
Is your Leaf AZE0? Looks like 4 bars are only for AZE0. I will try to connect directly to bms can bus ant test this solutionI had this problem too (4 bars), the solution described in this post helped

I have a ze0, 2011Is your Leaf AZE0? Looks like 4 bars are only for AZE0. I will try to connect directly to bms can bus ant test this solution![]()
Is your leaf AZE0 or it is ZE0?Try like this, let about 2-3 kwt remain, go to Chademo, reset battery and put to charge till charging speed will drop to 6 kwt/h and finish to charge at AC till the end.
By the way one Chademo charge per month will keep the battery in good SOH even it will go up.
Hi, my Leaf is ZE0 from 2011 first 10000 made.Is your leaf AZE0 or it is ZE0?
I drove my car and it did reset, but...... it reset back to the 79.74% SOH it was before I reset it with app and like some others the battery bars went from 11 down to 4 and its stuck there. Did do a full 100% charge to see if that made any difference but still only 4 bars showing , but estimated distance is the same as it was before..Yeah I found you need to drive the car or do a charge cycle for the reset to 'stick'. also, leaf spy's HX math is wrong, it'll never show 100% due to them dividing the raw value by 1024, vs 1000 that the bms code uses.
also, 7mV delta is crazy good for a pack with 80% SOH!
I would just wait until the app is updated, seems to be a theme with the azeo to go to 4 bar, but no problem with the zeoI tried to do reset directly on HV CanBus. I took OBD adapter and rewired CANBUS to 12&13 pins (HV Canbus).
Did connect to battery, did reset SOH, but AmpHours did not reset, stayed same 51Ah.. Still 4 bars in dash.
Leaf AZE0.
What should i try next?
