Hey all! I've been working with @safetyuggs in Facebook DMs on some stuff re the CATL upgrade he did a week before I performed mine, and also noticed the SOH reset quickly to 4 bars after I reset it on my ZE0 2012 (I tried 100%, 80%, and 60%) - Hx stayed the same, though. Not really important to me now I've put the bridge in, but something I noticed. I'm guessing something else is re-writing the EEPROM.

After the reset, the bars disappeared and became 4 bars. How can I get it back and remove the battery terminal? Leaf spy defines the battery as 24kw when changing the settings to 30kw does not help, automatically changes to 24kw! Car 2017 30kw!

Edit: I already replied here it seems, so I cut my message out.

Please remember this app is beta and things like this happen.

I've ordered a AZE0 VCM, I'll take a look when it arrives on how to reset the SOH bars in the VCM which I think will be needed here.
So does this mean that the capacity bars are stored in the LBC only in the ze0 models and in both the vcm and the LBC in the aze0? I have heard that there are many differences electricly between the ze0 and aze0 models

bars are stored in the LBC as far as anyone knows. There appears to be some check the AZE0 is doing on the LBC data and if it doesn't get the right result, it'll default to 2 bars.

The same happens on the ZE0 with SOC bars, it took 2000km (and approx 6-8 full 100% charges) for my VCM to display what the LBC is reporting regarding SOC, before that it defaulted to 12bars even when the battery was empty. - This was only with the can bridge installed which was undoubtedly reporting bad data.

I suspect something similar is happening here but its just guesses until I get a VCM, dump the firmware and see what controls the dash bars

Also, someone said they messed around with HX and SOH values and the VCM was happy again and showed the previous health bars. This kind of supports my theory

The dash clusters are the same between ZE0 and AZE0 as far as I know (same part number) so all that is left is the VCM

Well, i mean I did mine on a ZE0 and it still reset back.

Ok new info. After some time i see AHr are recalculated to very small value 26Ah. My batt had 51Ah. Looks like now 4 bars in the dash corresponds to Ah...
Update: and I started getting like 5 kilometers from 10% of SOC, like 45km from full charge. Looks like updated Hx or SOH messed the LBC, but i still dont see the physics here. I drove 7 km (SOC 98% ->80%).
I didn't try to go to full stop yet. maybe at 10% SOC i will get all the rest kilometers.
Also cell diff voltages are high, I saw my battery diff voltages used to be close to zero before testing.
Recovered to SOH and Hx that was before tests, will see how that will impact cells.

Battery was original, not modified, dropped 81% > 78% SOH in 3 years of ownership (~40kkm).

Ah will recalcualte itself after charge/discharge cycles, it's not a fixed number in the BMS. SOH is calculated from Ah
I understand. But how i got this huge drop 50>26Ah in some weeks... only what i did was SOH, Hx reset to 100.
