Only had my 2019 leaf for a few weeks. Every single time it's soo annoying to get Car play to work. Regardless of if you go through menu, carplay, then plug in, we have to unplug the phone and plug it back in. Is there not an easier way?

On our 2018 Kia you just plug your phone in and it fires up. So much easier.

I have the same problem. Sometimes it takes more than five attempts. Altering the ‘always start’ setting makes no difference.
I have a hypothesis that it might not start if the system is downloading data, as it only seems to be an issue when I’ve just started the car, but haven’t been able to test the theory.
