Hello everyone. The “Nissan Connect” system still doesn’t work properly. I have some thoughts and observations I’d like to share – perhaps you’ve been more successful in this area. 1. “Nissan Connect” miraculously comes to life when the car is turned on. 2. “Nissan Connect” comes to life for a short time when the car is connected to a charger – at the same time, the voltage on the 12V battery increases and the system works. 3. If you connect a charger to the 12V battery, the system comes to life. 4. The system’s stable operation time is constantly decreasing. I assume that there is a backup lithium battery in the TCU module. When the car is off, the TCU module is powered by the backup battery. If a signal comes from the “Nissan Connect” server, the TCU wakes up and activates the CAN bus, processing a particular command. Over time, the lithium battery degrades and the TCU module is unable to accept the command, hence the problems with “Nissan Connect”. I guess if you replace the battery (or tcu), the problem with nissan connect will end. What are your thoughts on this?
