Yes. Exactly:) who visit that link ( supplier) see 1 star review and from there I printScreen posted review , where buyer complaining that him buyed 100 and after a month half of them not working.
Other 33 reviews have 5 stars but only ~2 reviews was genuine.

I see a green bord with other chip configuration and I don't know if is good to leaf or not :(

What do you expect when the price is only 99¢ ?

How much product quality control do you want?

If someone is buying 100, then they are just greedy and lazy. Why would a person need so many? If they did need so many then they should design and build their own board and provide the quality control necessary to weed out defective units.

At that price just go ahead and buy 3. One for the car, one for testing on the bench, and one for a spare.

You have wasted more time worrying about such an inexpensive item than it's worth; if you demand perfection before you will spend a dollar, then find something else and expect to pay much more. Buy Mux's unit and support a forum member.

Agree. But same product can be selled with 1$ or 50$ . How I can be sure about the quality is different if is exactly same product ?

Just buy the damn thing and take a chance--hell it's only a dollar. buy 2 or 3.

Experiment and test them--this is DIY level stuff when you get into modifications; if it breaks, fix it, if it works, use it.

There is no warranty, this is not OEM. If you want better quality, then make your own board.

[edit: oh come to find out you didn't even read the wiki--WTF man, Dala does all the work and you can't even read his instructions? You just made the list.]

Green does not work. BLUE only works. Please read the wiki, you can buy the same boards from other suppliers.

Also, if a cheap 10USD chinese board feels wrong, like nlspace mentioned, you can make your own board and port the code to it. Open source baby!

Yes, please read the wiki. https://github.com/dalathegreat/Nissan-LEAF-Battery-Upgrade/wiki

A ZE1 40kWh into an AZE0 30kWh LEAF is mechanically directly compatible. Just add a CAN-bridge.

I found this question asked a couple times but didn't see an answer. Is it possible to get a ZE0 battery working in an AZE0 car? I swapped batteries off a wrecked AZE0 and just wanted to be able to move it now with the ZE0 battery if there's not too much to it. Already installed a 2 port can bridge with Dala's latest and got the wiring adapted to the battery but no luck. Is it possible? Thank you

Unfortunately not possible without custom CAN bridge coding. I wrote a wiki on which downgrades work: https://github.com/dalathegreat/Nissan-LEAF-Battery-Downgrade

Hello and sorry for bothering everyone. I'm desperate because I got the the bad idea to try to upgrade my 2011 Nissan Leaf with a "53KWH Nissan Leaf Battery Pack with Original CATL NCM 150Ah Module Above 98%" I bought in China with Alibaba. I received it, and the overall construction is really good. We started to remove the old battery, took the BMS out, and installed the BMS like they explained us on the new battery pack.

Then I thought it was done. But nightmare just begin (and it last now for weeks now cause I'm not a professional and don't have easily access to a forklift, neither to the car which is far away from where I work and live). After I installed the new battery, I successfully started the car and drove about 2 minutes in the parking just to move the car. Then I tried to charge it. It started, but immediately stopped after 1 minutes or so.

After getting a nice chat with the Chinese support team, they suggested me to remove again the 12v battery and "reset the car using the button of the door of the car after 5 minutes you let the car closed" (is this really useful?), and then remove all DTC errors with LeafSpy and try again. Then... I can start again the car while it says the battery level is super low. So, stop the car, plug to the charger... and then it stops again after 1 minutes (I can clearly see the first blue dot behind the windshield blinking like in the old time). But after 1 minutes it stop, and got a lot of error again.

I can't start the car without clearing all DTC message.

I don't remember well if I ever saw the P3102 clear button to be honest so I will try tomorrow.

Chinese team shipped with the battery, a can Bridge I didn't installed yet. I thought the purpose of this was to trick the range calculator.

What makes me worry (a lot) is whenever I go in LeafSpy, it reports an error on a ceil #89. To be honest we already triple checked the module which refers to this ceil, and all is good (voltage is good, wires to BMS are good). And the difference of voltage is at best at 122mV as suggest LeafSpy.

If I can hire somebody to just chat with him by phone and get some advices, to make this nice car works again, it would be great (hire = I will pay!)

I attached few screenshots I took on last attempts I did on the car last week.

thanks for reading

Cédric

I suggest you start a new thread on your problems, because I think this is going to take a lot of diagnosing, and better to keep it all in one place, than inter-mix with another's post.
That said, 3 things jump out at me.
1) the low 12 volt battery voltage, remove it, charge the 12 volt and load test it.
2) POAA6 isolation fault code, combined with
3) the low voltage on one cell.
Address the 1st, then report back with new Leafspy DTC readings.

ok just opened a new thread https://mynissanleaf.com/threads/fail-to-charge-car-after-battery-swap.36606/

low voltage on one cell is not real. I lean the voltage and test clearly reports everything is ok for this specific cell. 12v battery is brand news. POAA6 what is this error?

Hello. I’m about to swap a 40kWh Leafbattery in to a 2011 Leaf and I thought I could marrage the battery to the car without the can bridge, but it seems not to be possible. Moe it can barely move in limp home mode and does not take any charge. The keys are not working either. I guess this is the effect when not using the can bridge?
