It solely depends on the amount you drive and how fast you need to recharge. If you rarely go over 25 miles or so between charge sessions, then the 120 volt EVSE is enough to recharge in about 6 hrs overnight.
The longer you drive (the more energy you use) the longer the recharge session will take, you can shorten it by putting more in with higher voltage and current, up to the limit of the on board charger (either 3.3 or 6 kw). To get the full 6 kw you need 27.5 amps at 240 volt and an EVSE (wall unit) that can accept that.
If you have a Leaf+ and drive ~200 miles to get to your cottage, it will take quite some time to recharge it on 120 volts to make the trip back home, If you go there for a week end, and don't drive it while there, keep it plugged in the whole time, it might be enough. Otherwise adding a 240 volt circuit would be needed.
