EDIT: It does appear to be the same as gen1, 18mm ID, 22-24mm OD should work!

I've searched everywhere I can think, including the Nissan part site, and I can find zero information for what size copper crush washer I'll need when I check the transmission oil level in my '21 leaf SV+ Does anyone have the size info for this model?

Considering that the aluminum washers that come on it from the factory are single-use, and every leaf should have the level checked every 15K miles if you're following the maintenance schedule, it feels like the cars should be going through a lot of these, and the size info should be available somewhere!

I found info for the gen 1, but no confirmation if it's the same for the gen 2, of if there's a difference between the base and plus models. There does appear to be a difference in the transmission between the two. But there's literally no other parts in the 'Transmission' category on the Nissan parts site outside of the 2 transmissions and the breather tube. https://www.nissanpartsdeal.com/par...f/automatic-transmission.html?filter=(r=1301)

I'm sure I can find out via calipers once I've taken the plug out, but as they're single-use, then I'm stuck until I can get a replacement ordered and shipped to me.

There is no description of such small disposable parts on Nissan listings, but only a part number. At the dealer parts department, such individually packaged supplies are usually available, at very high price, not considering time to get to such small part. I ended up ordering a kit containing variety of aluminium and a kit for copper washers on Amazon at . I also own a Frontier 2016, so routine maintenance of engine, both differentials, transfer case, transmission, etc, is only economical with a basic provision of such gaskets. If you only own a Leaf and live near a Nissan Dealer, buying a basic gasket kit may not be justified.

Sorry! This part 40037-1CA0A was for the axle washers which I ended up not needing. Ordered because I was getting the axle nuts at the same time.

For the gear box oil plugs I used 90430-18008 which is a Toyota part number but is the same size as used on the Leaf gear box. At Amazon

Great thanks! Looks like it is probably the same as the gen1 then too, 18mm ID, 24mm OD for that one (Dala used an 18x22 for his, but the OD doesn't appear to be critical as it's just sitting on the surface of the transmission body.)
