I’ve had my Hypervolt home pro 3 installed today and have it setup with Ovo Charge Anytime. I get a reduced rate on electricity when power is quiet (at night I guess)
I plug the car in to charge and have it set to be fully charged by 0600 in the charger, my question is, do I also need to set the scheduled charging time in the leaf?
I’ve plugged it in now but the home charger isn’t scheduled to start charging till 2230, will the car automatically accept the charge or do I need to turn on charging in the Nissan app every time?

I have never used the onboard car charging scheduling....or used the Nissan App to start a charge either.

I have ONLY ever used the Octopus app to set my charge times since going onto the Intelligent Octopus Go tariff over a year ago I think now......prior to that, I used the Zappi chargers scheduling to start charging during the 4 hour cheap window (00:30 - 04:30) which was also with Octopus...the normal GO tariff.

So just set the appropriate time on the Hypervolt and if that is not possible use the cars built schedule ability.

Are you using the car's Charge Timer in combination with the Hyperbolt EVSE's scheduled timer?
If you set the car Charge Timer with an End Time of 0600, and enable Full charge has priority, then the car automatically adjusts the Start Time based on its present state of charge.

Otherwise, it may just be simpler to use the Hyperbolt EVSE's scheduled timer with the car's Charge Timers off, as suggested by @Gerhard .
