How To: Reduction Gear Oil Change

Could that cloud it that much? I had a halogen shop light right up next to it (drained into a Chinese food quart container) and couldn't see through it. The magnets had just a very fine black dust/powder on them and very little at that. No small blobs like I've seen others post but they had much higher mileage. Which is good. I expected to see through the Matic S. I guess I'll do this again in 3 years just to compare. I used Redline D6.
 
I bought 10-years old Nissan Leaf, with 190.000 km / 120.000 miles.
Looks like the reduction gear oil was never changed.
I could barely unscrew the drain plug—it was all rusty.
The oil was dark, and there was a lot of metal shavings on the magnet.

Used original Nissan Matic S oil
