Is there an app for the Chevy Bolt like Leaf Spy

Is there an app for the Chevy Bolt like Leaf Spy that can be used to monitor the health of the battery?

I am likely to be getting a Chevy Bolt since with my job change, my 2011 Leaf barely has enough range to get to work and back. Any side trip for groceries, etc. would require looking for a charging station and they are few and far between out here in the suburbs.

There are apps for most cars; but your best option would be to find a Bolt users forum and ask there.

Having said that; Car Scanner works on a range of cars; although I dont know if it has all the details LeafSpy gives.

I have a Kia Soul, and use EV Watchdog, which is Kia/Hyundai specific, and the aforementioned Car Scanner; as the sensors read/displayed are slightly different between the two.

Bjorn Nyland uses Car Scanner for all his EV tests; including the Bolt.

You can poke around at chevybolt.org. Seems like some folks use Torque Pro.

I've just started using Car Scanner on my leaf.

during install it shows a wide range of makes and models to select from, likely it will cover the chev bolt, try the free version first.

I'm still getting the hang of the app, it shows a lot of data for my 2019 ZE1 E+ nissan leaf. Hoping to fully compare it with Leafspy soon. Car scanner pro is 1/3 the price of leaf spy.

I'm trying to find a way to extract battery charge status into Home Assistant so I can fully automate charging.

I am not sure why you arent seeing a video link; it still shows and plays for me, both inset and using the option to play it on the YT site; perhaps anyone else reading this topic could comment if they are seeing it.

You could also search the guys name + "YouTube", he has a huge channel, with over 300,000 subscribers.
