Is this a car issue or a Nissan Connect issue???

I have a 2021 SL (U.S. based) and am very satisfied with the car. One weird thing. On the Nissan Connect app, there is an SOC % indicator in the ‘Plan your route’ function. I believe that when I first purchased the car, this worked fine and could plan my route based on on the current charge of the battery.

ALL of the other Nissan connect features are working fine. Finding the car, flashing the lights and horn, monitoring the charging status, locking the car etc. It is just this one thing that is not working.

It is either a problem with the Nissan Connect software on my phone (and yes, I have deleted and reinstalled from scratch) or the unit in the car is working for all functions EXCEPT for transmitting the SOC for the battery to the ‘Plan your route’ function.

Has anyone else run into anything similar? I have the Nissan Factory extended warranty on the car so I am thinking about taking it to the dealer and making it their issue but thought I would check with the group to see what others may have experienced.

Thanks,

Phil

I find the app to be buggy and frustrating. I did not renew the extended features when the complementary subscription expired after three years.

I still have remote climate, charge status and charge initiate. The app is still buggy, but for free, I can live with it.

I've also had my share of reliability problem with that system with my 2018. It's been pretty reliable on my 2022 though. But it's always been all in or all out. Your problem is weird ;)

You may rule out your phone entirely by using the Nissan Owner portal for your country, and check your car data from there.
