You can replace the TCU/NissanConnect EV with OVMS in all Gen1 Leafs (includes 2016 and older).

S trim doesn’t have a TCU so you don’t have the features to even lose.

And yet they are features I would like to *use*

Ultimately it's a two year lease. I don't want to destroy the battery for the next owner but if it's completely impossible to manage the battery smartly then I'm not going to sweat it.
