I purchased the Leaf in January as a 'Town Car'. The 150 mile maximum range fits my needs for local errands and for shopping about 30 miles away. The compelling feature for its purchase was its price at just less than $12K (out the door including state tax). It looks new inside and out and it had 37K miles on the odometer. I have no more room in my garage, so the Leaf is relegated to outside storage in the elements. I use a 120v standard outdoor receptacle to trickle charge it. It has worked well for my use that does not involve daily commuting to work. My prized EV is a 2022 Kia AWD EV6 and I must admit that I baby it. I try not to drive it in wet conditions, as I live on a gravel/dirt road. I think the Kia EV6 is the best car I have ever owned. My first EV was a 2021 Tesla Model Y, which I sold within a year because service required 10 hours of driving. Then I bought two 2022 Chevy Bolt EUVs, Launch Editions with every imaginable bell and whistle. Service was only 25 miles away! They were good cars and comfortable to drive, but they charge slow and were FWD only. I did drive mine in the snow with snow tires and it performed surprisingly well. After selling the Bolts we bought a Tesla Model 3. My partner thought it was too difficult to get in and out of, so we sold it and bought a 2023 Tesla Model Y Long Range. She seems pretty happy with the 'Y'. I hope we are through buying EVs for the foreseeable future!DSC06451.jpegDSC06417.jpegDSC06117.jpegDSC06284.JPGDSC06258.JPGScreenshot 2024-08-05 at 3.59.30 PM.pngrbwpV4d9-F0bTQfUY1k-(edit).jpg
