I have a 2015 Leaf S that I bought used in July 2020. Until last winter, it had 11 bars, but on a very cold day last winter, the display dropped to 10 bars. However, now, Leaf Spy Pro shows a SOH of 78.56%, which should correspond to 11 bars. It should not show 10 bars until the SOH drops below 77.27%. I remember seeing somewhere that once a bar is lost It will not be regained if the battery SOH improves for whatever reason. Other than going to a Nissan dealer, is there anyway reset the SOH display?

I'm not sure if it's possible for an individual to reset the SOH bars. I'm pretty sure there have been posts here where people claim that they have lost and then regained a SOH bar on the dash, presumably when the SOH was right around the tipping point between the two.

Out of curiosity, if you know that your battery SOH is 78.56% from LeafSpy, why are you worried about 10 vs 11 bars on the dash?

The display shows you data from the BMS. This can be reset using diagnostics. However, it will not help you, it will only show nonsense for a while. After several cycles, the display will start to show you the correct values. They won't fix your battery.
