Hi everyone. I am a recent LEAF owner. I bought a used 2018 LEAF and I'm excited about it. I am worried about the performance in the freezing cold. I'm living in Chicago and hope that it can survive.

Ok, I have a 2018. I notice the range being shorter than expected as well. It been below freezing out here for weeks. Mine didn't come with it's original charger. Do you have any recommendations for second hand chargers?

I live in Northern Ontario and drive a 2013 leaf with 85% SoH. In -13F it goes fine, and while the heater takes a full 15% more than 32F, I manage up to 50mi a day with only trickle charge to 95% when it's super cold.

Edit to add: My use case was for 50mi a day so it's perfectly adequate. Personally, I hope my 95% charge in colde weather kills the battery so I can swap in a 63kwh pack and go on road trips with the ChaDeMo.
