I have a TEsla Y that I can vary the charge rate at my home charger. It defaults to a 30 amp charge rate, but I can adjust that rate lower to reduce stress on the battery during charging. I like to charge it at 22 amps which still allows for a complete 90% overnight charge. I also have a 2023 Leaf which allows a charging time to be scheduled, but it doesn't appear to allow a variable charging rate like my Tesla. Is there any way to adjust the charge rate for the Leaf?

I have seen aftermarket chargers that allow you to change the charge rate. Don't think you can actually adjust the charge rate in the car and certainly not with the OE charger that comes with the car.

The OBC responds to a signal from the EVSE that limits how much current the OBC can draw from the EVSE circuit.
The default is 6.6kw or about 27.5 amps at 240 volt.
Nissan didn't make the rate user adjustable via a selection from the dash or other place in the car.
As mentioned, there are adjustable rate EVSE where you can set the rate at the EVSE.
So your choices are get another EVSE either at the fixed rate you want to charge or adjustable rate unit or adjust the charge time via the charge timer to limit SOC but not charge rate.

Emporia has an adjustable rate EVSE which is settable in a decent smart phone app 1A increments. With start and stop scheduling I can set the number of hours to charge at 18A and have hit 80-85% almost every time. There are others EVSEs that can do this. I'm simply commenting on what I own.
