That is it. The button only have "Auto" word printed on it with image of the 2 prong plug above and tiny lock displayed under wording. All he needs to do is press on it and LED in it will lit up and there will be no issues with DC charging. This button allows auto negotiation with chargers and auto lock/unlock of the cable based on charge status. It is primary mode for DC charging. When it is off (default) it is designed for L1 and L2 chargers (nothing to negotiate) to prevent theft, basically it will keep cable locked and coordinate with car lock/unlock status without any regards to charge complete state. So cable will stay locked until you unlock you car with remote. Another words, if you never use your own charger in public places - just enable this "auto" mode and you would never need to bother with it again. It is possible my car has newer firmware. Ionics firmware is updatable trough SD slot in media console, not only maps, but other parts of the car.Valdemar wrote:Auto what?
