That's a good location, especially for people heading up to the trailheads at N. Lake/Lake Sabrina/S. Lake (BTDT), although I'd personally prefer something closer to Schat's Bakery. It's definitely a better location than the EA site under construction at the Von's.

Update on Bishop Supercharger:

Tesla has finalized their agreement with the City of Bishop for their supercharger!!! Long overdue. This was unanimously approved by the city council during their meeting of 9/23/2019.

12 stalls (not clarified if Urban, classic or V3)

I saw a note the other day that supercharge.info recently was tracking 200 SuCs under construction at the same time.

But I think part of that was that a number of SuC sites were in a mid-construction pause as they seemed to have been waiting on V2 pedestals. Whatever the delay was, it appears to have ended in the last 2 weeks, as a number of SuCs that were waiting all got finish, like the ones in Maine.
