For those who hadn't seen these (now old) videos from http://www.engadget.com/2011/03/03/goog ... wild-ride/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YaGJ6nH3 ... r_embedded" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oMdcWHnb ... r_embedded" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=pl ... _eVE6KQ4Jg" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; - you can see the steering wheel for most of this run
There was some more posted recently on them that might interest some on here:
http://spectrum.ieee.org/automaton/robo ... -car-works" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;.
The first video in the article (part 2 of 3) is pretty cool. Part 3 was ok. Haven't watched part 1 yet.
There was an funny statement earlier by Eric Schmidt mentioned at http://www.autoblog.com/2011/09/29/goog ... -than-you/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;:

And then Chairman Schmidt jumps in with this gem: "Our computers drive our cars better than you do when you're drunk. That's our starting point."
That's not a very high bar Mr. Schmidt, but we digress...
